Ten members who joined the Club in the last year or so accepted the invitation to the meet, with most joining on the Friday night, but end of exams celebrations and an office leaving party meant two appeared on the Saturday, and surprisingly not in the least hungover!

In contrast to last year's meet, the weather was largely kind. After a rapid Friday evening ascent of Curved Ridge, on the Saturday Jason picked up two extra Munros beyond Ben Starav to add to his tally. Graham, perhaps rueing not being able to climb due to a finger injury, went up Great Gully Buttress. The climbers split between Polldubh and the Buachaille, with Gemma, Sinead, James and Michael climbing a surprisingly dry Chasm, followed by a rainy Crows Nest Crack. The rain only arrived in Polludbh late in the afternoon and the midges were notable by their absence.

Saturday night was taken up by the now-traditional feast, with the President laying on a hearty stew. On Sunday the weather defied the forecast and remained fair. Those that needed a short day went up the Devil's Staircase while the climbers visited the Tunnel Walls and climbed Uncertain Emotion (7b).
